1. Program Type

Bachelor、master and doctorate programs are open to international students in 2018. JUST offers programs in Chinese as well as in English.

2. Programs and Candidate Seats

2.2 Programs delivered in Chinese

All degree specialties and disciplines of JUST, delivered in Chinese, are available to overseas applicants

NOTE：For running a bachelor program taught in English, the quota of students needs to be reached; if not, the students of that program should be ready to transfer to another one.

3.  Duration of Application

March 23, 2018 to June 20 2018.

4.  Qualification for Application

4.1 A foreign passport holder, healthy, obedient to Chinese law and regulations of JUST.

4.2 Bachelor program applicants should hold a high school diploma and normally should be less than 25 years old; Master program applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree and normally should be less than 40 years old; doctorate program applicants should hold a master degree and normally should be less than 45 years old.

4.3 The requirement of language proficiency for applicants of English delivered programs is as follows: TOEFL 550 (IBT 80) or IELTS 5.5, but not required for native English speaker. Applicants of Chinese delivered programs should have recent HSK Level 4 certificate or HSK Junior-C certificate. Those who cannot meet this requirement can apply for Chinese language courses whose duration normally will not exceed a year. They will then be eligible to our programs.

5. Application Materials

5.1 Foreigner Physical Examination Form.

5.2 English or Chinese proficiency certificate.

5.3 Photocopy of passport (valid, general passport) and a photo of the size used for passport.

5.4 For undergraduate applicants, education level diploma, original or notarized copy (in English or Chinese); for applicants who are still fresh graduates, certificate of expected graduation should be provided.

5.5 For graduate applicants, the following academic materials are required: an original or notarized copy (in English or Chinese) of undergraduate transcript and Bachelor Degree Certificate, two recommendation letters (in Chinese or English) from different referees at least titled as associate professor (or other equivalent titles).

5.6 For doctorate program applicants, the necessary academic materials are: an original or notarized copy (in English or Chinese) of graduate transcript and Master Degree Certificate, two recommendation letters from two different professors, and research proposal for doctorate study in China.

5.6 Self-financed international students should name a trustee in China and provide a financial guarantee (International Students, if not supported by Jiangsu Provincial Government Scholarship, are recognized as self-financed full time graduate students).

6. Application Procedure

Applications to all programs should be ONLY done online through JUST “Online Application System” http://apply.just.edu.cn/member/login.do

STEP 1: Register your account and activate it.

STEP 2: Fill out the application and upload your authentic documents as required.

STEP 3: Submit the application and save your application number.

STEP 4: Check your admission status online regularly.

STEP 5: You will receive your Admission Notice through e-mail after successful verification.

STEP 6: Read your Admission Notice and pay the fees listed in the Admission Notice provided by the School of Overseas Education of JUST.

STEP 7: Upload the remittance receipt to JUST “Online Application System”.

STEP 8: Receive originals of Admission Notice and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) by post.

7. Admission

7.1 Decision of Admission will be made upon application materials and applicants’ performance in evaluation.

7.2 Documents of admission will be sent before June 30, 2018. With the JUST International Student Admission Notice and JW202 Form, admitted students should go to the Chinese embassy or consulate to apply for entry visa (X status visa) to China.

7.3 For those who used to study in other Chinese universities, a statement of graduation or certificate from the current university should be provided.

8. Registration Period

In accordance with the International Student Admission Notice of JUST, Admitted Students should register at the school of Overseas Education of JUST, and follow the registration schedule as specified. Students who fail to register within 10 days after the deadline will be regarded as giving up the admission.

9. Fees

All the fees for International Students are listed below in Table 2:

NOTES:

1. Jasmine Scholarship can only be awarded after the application is approved, and is incompatible with other scholarships provided by JUST.

2. Jasmine TSP Program is only available for applicants of Special Economic Animal Rearing and Biology.

3. Full Scholarship includes Comprehensive Insurance Fee +Accommodation Fee+ Tuition +Living Allowance.
